ARA TechBis was awarded the contract to develop from ground up a Performance Management system to track and monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of a government body in Malaysia. The Performance Management system was developed in-house, utilising the latest Java technology and Javascript framework for building a modern interactive web application.

By empowering our client with complete transparency in the performance evaluation of each individual, the Performance Management system by ATSB addresses the issue of performance management at an individual level. This indirectly leads to savings, increased efficiency and productivity as well as enabling our client to provide better services to the Rakyat.

Unlike spreadsheets, which offer limited features, or dashboards that only display metrics, this Performance Management system provides rich features that promote alignment, support accountability, and enable communication and actions to drive performance and execute strategy.

ATSB’s Performance Management system integrates with a BPM tool to provide setup of various KPI targets and objectives. You also get to manage the KPI assessment whereby you can view and define their achievement and update the strategy implemented. You also get to automate the assessment process by setting up formula’s in the system to read the data from a predefined database.

Drive performance through actions. Link initiatives to your KPIs and measures. Initiatives can be used anywhere you need them to help track and monitor plans and actions that drive your performance. Individual initiatives tasks can be assigned to users.

Also built into the system is a Balance Score Card module which can be used to align business activities to the vision and strategy of the organization, improve internal and external communications, and monitor organization performance against strategic goals. The balanced scorecard is a management system (not only a measurement system) that enables organizations to clarify their vision and strategy and translate them into action. It provides feedback around both the internal business processes and external outcomes in order to continuously improve strategic performance and results.
